SWOPT coordinator host, Helmholtz Munich (HMGU), has received the prestigious Total E-Quality award for its commitment to promoting equal opportunities and an inclusive work culture. We are proud to be part of an institution with demonstrated dedication in achieving gender equality and cultural diversity. Pro-active measures are necessary to provide a discrimination-free work environment that supports work-life balance, and where all employees are treated equally.
It is the seventh time that Helmholtz Munich has been honoured with the Total E-Quality award. Essential for this long-standing recognition are specific strategies implemented in our research center, such as established guidelines for the prevention and correction of any discriminatory action to protect the dignity of all employees. Promoting the presence of individuals from underrepresented groups in science and leadership positions is also a priority at Helmholtz Munich, and towards this goal, the “Diversity-Sensitive Recruitment Processes” project was officially launched in March 2023.
