SWOPT Summer School

Starting the last year of the SWOPT project, we are organising a Summer School open to all interested participants.
The workshop, kindly organised by partner LBMI at FORTH, offers a training programme focused on cutting-edge biomedical imaging,
with emphasis on optoacoustic (photoacoustic) technologies and next-generation image analysis.
It brings together PhD students, early-career researchers, and experts in physics, engineering, computer science, and biomedical sciences
to explore novel approaches for visualising biological processes at the cellular level in deep tissue.

Participants will be introduced to both the theoretical foundations and practical applications of the technologies developed within the SWOPT project,
including image reconstruction, data analysis, and biological use cases.

A key focus of the summer school is hands-on and collaborative learning, where participants will work with real imaging data and modern computational tools
to understand how cellular dynamics can be studied in 3D within living systems. The programme fosters exchange between disciplines and supports the development
of the next generation of researchers in biomedical imaging and translational technology.
