The 2025 edition of the annual Dutch chemistry conference, CHAINS 2025, featured a lecture by Rosa M. Marquez, from Szymanski Lab at UMCG.
Her talk, titled “Molecular Photoswitches as Next‑Generation Contrast Agents for Photoacoustic Imaging,” presented the progress made in the development of photoswitching synthetic agents that will be applied in the new SWOPT imaging setup. In addition, Rosa had the opportunity to interact with other chemists and scientists from academia and industry, not only to disseminate project results but also to obtain feedback from peers and potential end‑users.
