Prof. Ntziachristos elected to Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities

Prof. Vasilis Ntziachristos, leader of the hardware development of the SWOPT system, has been elected to the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities in recognition of his pioneering contributions to biomedical imaging and interdisciplinary research. As Director of the Institute of Biological and Medical Imaging at Helmholtz Munich and Chair of Biological Imaging at the Technical University of Munich, he has made significant advances in imaging technologies for biomedical applications.
A  recognized pioneer in his field, Prof. Ntziachristos continues to shape the future of biomedical imaging, and distinctions such as this reflect the impact and excellence of his scientific contributions.
