Networking at the TUM Entrepreneurship Day 2026

On June 25, 2026, the TUM Entrepreneurship Day took place in Munich, organised by the Technical University of Munich, UnternehmerTUM and the TUM Venture Labs. Science managers working at Helmholtz Munich and in the SWOPT project participated in this event, where researchers, startups, investors, and innovation support organizations came together to discuss pathways from research to market.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with initiatives that foster entrepreneurship among academic innovators, an important element of SWOPT’s exploitation strategy. The project manager of SWOPT also met several life science startups and established new contacts that could support future collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the translation of the project results into practical applications.
As the project enters its final phase, these connections are becoming increasingly important. We will continue to participate in entrepreneurship and innovation events to help take its research beyond the laboratory and explore opportunities for real-world implementation and impact.
