Exhibition booth at EULAR 2026 Congress

The EULAR European Congress of Rheumatology is the leading annual international meeting for rheumatology, bringing together clinicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, patient organisations and industry partners. The congress attracts more than 12,000 delegates from over 130 countries and features a comprehensive scientific, educational and networking programme. The exhibition area hosts over 50 industry exhibitors.
In the 2026 edition that took place in London on June 3-6, Helmholtz Munich teamed up with Spear UG to organise a joint an exhibition booth for the industry fair. The booth featured the SWOPT project together with the MOSAIC project. MOSAIC is a EIC coordinated project by Helmholtz Munich which aims to miniaturise optoacoustic sensors. This goal, combined with the high-resolution imaging deep within tissue offered by the SWOPT technology, has the potential to advance in the development of tools that can map how immune cells intreact within a joint in 3D, to eventually propose new faster, non-invasive tools to improve personalised treatments in theumatology.
The booth was supported by researchers from Helmholtz Munich and Spear UG and was surronded by other booths from major pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology companies. The nature of this fair also ential an audience composed of researchers, patients representatives, and industry stakeholders, which allowed us to showcase our innovations and expand our network with a focus in industry potential partners.
